About the product
Everything you need to know
What is it?
Sanwariya Seth is worshipped as a form of Krishna — the dark-complexioned Shyam of Mandphia, near Chittorgarh in Rajasthan. Devotees traditionally treat him as a business partner rather than only a deity, offering him a share of their earnings.
This variant stands on a round pedestal base engraved with श्री सांवरिया सेठ. The shringar is picked out in green and red enamel over gold, with the wing panels finished in white inlay and the flute, crown and peacock detailing raised in relief.
Why people keep it
- Kept in the puja ghar, on a shop counter, or at a work desk
- Traditionally associated with prosperity and steady business
- The engraved base makes it a clear gift piece for a shop opening or Diwali
